Counselling & Consultancy Expert

Meet Rahul Minhas,

Hello and a warm welcome!

I'm Rahul Minhas, a Registered Clinical Counsellor and EMDR-trained therapist in Surrey, BC with a wealth of experience in supporting both youth and adults as they navigate life’s challenges. My commitment is to help individuals through various mental health concerns, including addiction, depression, grief and loss, trauma, relationship difficulties, and more.

My approach to therapy is rooted in empathy, openness, and a deep curiosity about each client’s unique story. I strive to create a safe, supportive, and comfortable environment where we can collaboratively explore emotional struggles, challenge unhelpful thought patterns, and foster self-awareness. I specialize in using evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy, and Inner Child Therapy. I believe in a client-centred approach where your unique experiences are respected and valued. Together, we’ll tailor the counselling process to meet your specific needs and goals.

I am very passionate about my work and I continue to strive to better my counselling skills. It would be a pleasure to hear your story and explore how I can support you. Reach out for a free consultation, and let’s take the first step toward your journey to wellness.

A Glimpse into My Journey as an Author and Counsellor

I am not only a dedicated counsellor but also the author of the fiction book Brotherhood: The Second Chapter, which explores themes of attachment trauma and youth influences. My book reflects my passion for understanding the complexities of human emotions and relationships, offering insights that I incorporate into my counselling approach. Beyond my professional pursuits, I find joy in sports, staying active, and cherishing moments with my family, friends, and dog. These experiences enrich my approach, providing me with a well-rounded perspective in my counselling practice.
